I did a full tab for FOTB absolutely YEAAAAARS ago (felt like it took me years as well), and it was on the fall of the bastille site till we had to take it down due to lack of finance Sad It's on my PC at home, so I can PM it to you next time I'm there if you like.

Code:
Track: Fall of the bastille
Available: Racecar is racecar backwards and old XFM Session
Tabbed by: Aidan O'Brien

It's done. It took me ages. I'm happy with it. A general rule with the loud parts of this
song is "if in doubt, make lots of noise".

Voila! Although some of that doesn't line up properly... the palm mutes on the first line should be for the last group of chords. Other than that, enjoy Smile

Cheers Mike.

While we're on the topic of Tabs, did anyone ever do 'Words From Reuben? I'd love to be able to play it but can't seem to find one anywhere Confused

The intro is pretty basic, if i remember rightly

Code:

Low E|-2-0-0-7------0--0--2--2--0--0-

I could be mistaken though, not picked up a guitar in months. After playing this it moves to the same pattern but power chords. Im also not sure of the tuning but i used Dropped D.

Yeah its dropped D but its actually

Code:
-2p0-0-0-7p0-0-0--2p0-0--4-4-0-0

Also, awesome FOTB tab aidan, only thing I noticed was...
Code:
Chorus

I've tried to tab the rhythm but just try and do it by ear - its quite tricky to tab.

Ignore the palm mutes cos they're all out of whack now, its just theres an 11 on the 4th string for def. Listen to it, it makes all the difference. Other than that, top notch

Ignore the palm mutes cos they're all out of whack now, its just theres an 11 on the 4th string for def. Listen to it, it makes all the difference. Other than that, top notch

I was young and careless Smile I don't have either the song or a guitar to hand at the moment, but seeing as for a long time that chord was 'THE REUBEN CHORD' to me it would make sense for that to be correct, so cheers!

Oh and from memory the words from reuben verse chords are something like
Code:

e|-----------------------------------------------
B|-----------------------------------------------
G|-----------------------------------------------
D|-9--9--9-9-9--9-x--2--2-2-2-2-2p0-0-0-0h2-2-2--
A|-9--9--9-9-9--9-x--2--2-2-2-2-2p0-0-0-0h2-2-2--
D|-9--9--9-9-7--7-x--2--2-2-2-2-2p0-0-0-0h2-2-2--

However the second chord might be the reuben chord (normal power chord with added 11th) as might the last one... like I said, no guitar or song to hand!
