terry is pretty shy....but when he gets chatting hes great.
on the FK tour he had a bad throat too so he kept himself backstage for most of the night, although he did come out and chat with me and my mates for a bit near the end of the night.

anyone else think terrys voice is much better live than on cd?
when i saw septembre he was hitting all these soft and hard high notes and even gave a big rocking roar at one point - certainly dont get that on rule3.

hi! i spoke to sammy (from septembre) when they played in leics and he said they've got an album, but they're lookin for a bigger label to do the distributing for them. they're a nice band, easy to talk to and they're good live (went to their first ever gig and i was impressed). don't get the deftones connection at all, they don't sound like them.

the stressing words over several bars on top of powerful riffs. the atmouspheric vocals. the general style of guitar playing all has deftone similarities. terry in an interview says they are his fave band too. they arent exactly vastly different kinds of music.

I thought they sounded a hell of a lot more like Silverchair than the Deftones. I thought they were proper shit hot live. The drummer's head was going round like a windmill all through the set. I'm surprised he didn't put a neckbrace on as soon as he left stage!

i can see how a deftones fan would love septembre but i dont think they sound similar...the silverchair comparison is closer, on first hearing
but listen to either a lot and i think its more a "feeling" to the sound than the actaull songs themselves...

like the reuben / foo fighters comparison - i dont think either have songs the actually sound like the other...but there is something...
