Our debut album, Racecar is Racecar Backwards, is released on Monday the 21st of June on Xtra Mile Recordings. It will be available nationwide on CD and very special 12' vinyl. It should even be on the HMV listening posts, so feel free to give it a try-before-you-buy!

| SAT 29TH MAY 2004: FREDDY KREUGER VIDEO B-LISTED ON MTV2 |
The video for Freddy Kreuger has been moved up from C-listing to B-listing on the MTV2 playlist, which means even more plays! Yay! the video currently sits at number 9 in the NME chart, which is great! Thanks for all your votes...log on to www.mtv2europe.com and keep it going!
In other news, the video has been added to the SCUZZ TV playlist, and was played by Mary Anne Hobbs on her Rock Show this week. Rocking!
We regret to report that the delay to the release of the single was due to a complication with the artwork for the vinyl copies, and doesn't mean that the album will be delayed. It's still worth ordering your copy of the single though, if you get a chance.
The Reuben tour meanwhile rumbles on, this week up to the north where we're set to play the massive Middlesborough One Live festival, which shoudl be amazing - see you there! |

| THU 20TH MAY 2004: APOLOGIES FOR MILTON KEYNES FIASCO |
Reuben would like to say how sorry they are to everyone who was turned away from the show at The Oasis bar at Milton Keynes yesterday. We do try as hard as we can to make sure that all the gigs we play are 14+, but even so, it's not always possible to assure this, so it's best to ring the venue quickly before you book to make absolutely sure. Numbers for venues can usually be found on our live page.
Rest assured that you're not the only ones who have been discriminated against because of their age - only last month Jim was refused membership to the Junior Lego Club on the grounds that he's 21.
It might sound stupid in respect of what happened, but we were all seriously chuffed that so many of you turned up, and all of the shows on the tour so far have been made great by so many of you coming along. All we can do is apologise to you all and hope that you still found something wicked to do with your evening. |
